Abstract :Pneumopericardium is characterized by the presence of air or gas in the pericardial sac, which can occur spontaneously, due to trauma, as a result of an underlying disease, or iatrogenically. Management in these patients should be evaluated according to the hemodynamic status. If cardiac tamponade occurs, immediate intervention may be required. However, pneumopericardium typically resolves on its own and does not require invasive treatment in many cases. In this case report we will describe the diagnosis of pneumopericardium after pericardiocentesis using multi-modality imaging methods and the preferred conservative approach. Keywords : Pneumopericardium, Pericardiocentesis, Pericardial Disease, Pericardial Effusion
