Abstract :Introduction: Among insect bites/stings, allergic reactions due to bee stings are frequently seen. Sometimes, angioedema may occur, especially in the pediatric age group. However, angioedema after an ant bite is a rare condition. Case Report: In this case, we present a child who developed angioedema after his penis and scrotum were bitten by ants. The patient was treated with prednol, antihistamines and ice in the emergency room. The patient\\\'s pain, swelling and redness complaints decreased after the treatment. Conclusion: With this study, we showed that ants, which are among the insects that can cause serious allergic results in children, can do this. Parents should be careful about the problems that may occur after insect bites/stings in children.
