Abstract :İnce iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi genellikle tiroid nodüllerinin sitolojik tanısı için ilk adımdır. Yaygın olarak kullanılan bu prosedürün doğru değerlendirilmesi önemlidir. Bir tiroid ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi raporu için, sitopatologların anlamı, hastalık klinisyeni anladığı gibi olmalıdır. Bu amaçla bazı komiteler tarafından hazırlanan bazı algoritmalar vardır. Bu makale sitopatolog-klinisyen iletişimini kolaylaştıran kavramlara ve özellikle de tiroit sitopatolojisini raporlamak İçin Bethesda sistemine odaklanmıştır.
