Abstract :Öz : Kanûnî’nin oğlu Şehzâde Mustafa’nın idamı 16.yüzyıldan günümüze kadar gelen süreçte önemini koruyan olaylardan biri olmuştur. Bu idam karşısında çağında birçok tepki meydana gelmiştir. Tepkilerden biri de Şehzâde Mustafa için yazılan mersiyelerdir. Şehzade Mustafâ’ya yazılan bu mersiyelerden birini de 16.yüzyıl şâiri Hasbî kaleme almıştır. Bu makale şâir Hasbî’nin mersiyesini ilk defa bilim alemine tanıtmayı amaç- lamaktadır. Makale şiirin metinsel sunumu, nesre aktarılması, edebi sanatlarıyla birlikte değerlendirmesini içermektedir. Anahtar kelimeler: Mersiye, Şehzade Mustafa, Hasbi,16.yüzyıl Abstract : Execution of Prince Mustafa, son of Suleiman the Magnifcent, is an event which kept its importance since 16th century. There were many reactions against this execution in the era. Some of these reactions are the elegies written in memory of Prince Mustafa.One of these elegies were written by 16th century poet Hasbi. This paper aims to introduce elegy written by Hasbi to the scientifc world. It includes textual presentation of the elegy and evaluation thereof taking into consideration the literary arts such as metonym. Keywords: Elegy, Prince Mustafa, Hasbi,16th century
