Abstract :Dentigerous cysts are benign odontogenic cysts that are associated with the crowns of permanent teeth. They are usually characterized as unilocular radiolucent lesions and are rarely seen during childhood. The purpose of this article is to report a case of an 11 year old boy with a dentigerous cyst associated with the mandibular canine and a premolar. The treatment involved the extraction of the primary molars and marsupialization of the lesion. After 9 months of follow-up, spontaneous eruption of the impacted teeth was observed. Marsupialization might be the first treatment option for conservative management of dentigerous cysts in children. Keywords : Dentigerous cyst, marsupialization, tooth eruption, tube drain, oral surgery
