Abstract :Anahtar kelimeler: uzun klinik araştırma, görünen ışık, hybrid kompozit restorasyonlar, amalgam.   4 senelik bir klinik gözlem süresini kapsayan çalışmada, posterior dişlerde hazırlanan I. ve II. sınıf Black i : kavitelerine amalgam ve görünen ışık İle polimerize olan Hybrid-kompozit uygulamaları yapıldı. 30 hastaya 40 | kompozit ve 30 amalgam restorasyon kontralateral olarak uygulandı. Bir senenin sonunda amalgam dolguların %91`i ve Hybrid-kompozitlcrin %79`u, dördüncü senenin sonunda ise amalgam dolguların %80`i ve Hybrid-kom-pozitlcrin % 62.5`u U.S.P.H.S. kriterlerine göre sağlam bulundu. Visible lightjlybrid-composîte restoration, Amalgam. j   A Jour-year study was conducted to compare the qualitative advantages, if any, of a hybrid insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(visible light] curing composite resin to amalgam in Class I ana XI large cavities in posterior teeth. Forty composite and 30 amalgam k contralateral restorations were evaluated. At the end of one year ninty-one percent of the amalgams and seventy-nine percent of the hybrid-composites, and at the end offour year eighty percent of the amalgams and sixty two percent of the hybrid composites were considered sound. The criteria for evaluating the restorations are developed by the mate­rials and technology of the Division of Dental Health, UŞPHS, San Fransisco.
