Abstract :Özet Bu çalışmada, minenin değişik bölgelerine lokaiize olmuş kahverengi, o pak fluoroz renklenmelerinin hid-roklorik asit-pompa karışımı ile beyazlatılmasındaki başarı yedi olguda değerlendirilmiştir. Kole bölgesindeki renklenmelerde, bu bölgedeki mine kalınlığının az olması nedeni ile tam bir beyazlatma sağlanamamıştır. Minenin diğer bölgelerinde ise tam başarı elde edilmiş ve bir yıllık kontrollerde geri dönüş görülmemiştir. Fluorozlu minenin beyazlatılmasında başarının lez-yon derinliğine ve mine kalınlığına bağlı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Anahtar sözcükler: Dental fluoroz, beyazlatma, mikroabrazyon BLEACHING OF THE ENAMEL BY CONTROLLED HIDROCHLORIC ACID-PUMICE ABRASION: A CASE REPORT Abstract In this study, broum, opaque fluorosis staining on the different sites of enamel of seven cases were bleached using hydrochloric acid*pumice to evaluate the effectiveness oj this technique. Bleaching on Ote cervical area discoloration could not be effecively done, due to reduced enamel thickness. On the other areas of enamel, bleaching was very successful and controls after one year revealed no recoloration. As a conclusion, it seems that, bleaching of the fluorosis staining is related to lesion depth and enamel thickness. Key words: Dental fluorosis, bleaching, microabrasion
