Abstract :Özet Prognatizm ciddi sosyal ve fonksiyonel bir engeldir. Prognatik bir hastanın III. sınıf anomaliler hacımsal veya konumsal kaynaklı olabilmektedir. Hacımsal anomalilerde mandibulada yapısal bir büyüklük söz konusudur ve bu olgular gerçek III. sınıf olgulardır. Bu makalede, III. sınıf maloklüzyonlu yetişkin bir bireyde estetik ve fonksiyonu sağlamak amacıyla perio-dontolojik, ortodontik ve protetik kombine bir tedavi yaklaşımı anlatılmaktadır.
