Abstract :SonüÇ olarak şu düşünceler ileri sürülebilir: 1. Özellikle protezlerinin stabilitesinden şikayette bulunan hastalara bu tip dişler denenebilir. 2. Centrimatic protezlerin yapım tekniği basit olmakla beraber, linear oklüzyon düşüncesine kesinlikle sadık katmalıdır. Aksi takdirde tamamen ters bir sonuç alınabilir. 3. Kontrollü araştırmalarla, uzun vadede bu tip oklüzyonun T.MJ, üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmalıdır. SUMMARY In this paper, different types of artifical teeth have been presented chronologically and various concepts of occlusal designs have also been discussed in detail. More emphasis has been- given to Centrimatic teeth sihce they were recently made artificial teeth in spite of their use bas not been widely accepted. In the end of the paper., the construction of an upper and lower complete denture using Centrimatic teeth has been presented and the following suggestions have been -stated : 1- Centrimatic teeth may be used in patients who complain cf instability of their lower dentures. 2. Since the construction technique is very easy, the technician should take a very good care of linear occlusion and appreciate this concept. 3. Long- term- controlled studies must be done and the effects of linear occlusion on TMJ should be investigated.
