Yapılan mikrobiyolojik incelemede izole edilen 36 sustan 12`inde insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 33); beta-laktamaz saptandı. Anahtar sözcükler: Bacteroides, beta-laktamaz. ABSTRACT The most important mechanism for bacterial resistance is the activity of heta-Iactamases. We studied 33 patients who came us for tlieir orofacial infections tike post-operative infections seen following surgical removal of a lower wisdom tooth, mandibuler osteomyelitis, inflammatory radiculary cysts, periapical and periodontal abscess. A specimen of pus was obtained by aspiration through intact mucosa or skin after disinfection and immediately transported to the laboratory for prompt processing. On die microbiological investigation, it has been found beta-lactamase activity which 12 of isolated 36 on die specimen insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 33);. Key words: Bacteroides, beta-lactamase.
