Abstract :ÖZET Bu yazıda, yetişkinlerde yapılabilecek ortodontik tedavinin imkanları, endikasyoniarı ve hudutları genel olarak anlatılmıştır. Ayrıca konu ile ilgili tedavi edilmiş üç vak`a takdim edilmiştir. Vak`aların tedavisinden şu sonuca varılmıştır ki, dişlerin hareket ettirileceği destek dokular kafi derecede sağlam olmak şartıyla ortodontik tedavi yetişkinlerde de başarıyla yapılabilir. SUMMARY In this article, a general review and orthodontic approach of the adult orthodontics has been discussed with respect to the possibilities, indications and limitations. Also three treated cases have been reported. These casies lead the conclusion that adult malocclusion can be corrected regardless of the age of the patient, provided there is adequate support of the surrounding tissues for the teeth to be moved.
