Abstract :ÖZET Bu makalede üst cene rezeksiyonlarından sonra iki ile onikinci hafta arasındaki postoperatif sürede uygulanan tedavi obtüratörlerinin amaçları özetlenmiş, tedavi obtüratörü uygulanan bir vaka ve protetik yöntem açıklanmıştır. Ayrıca kulak-burun-boğaz ekibi ile maksillo-fasiyal rehabilitasyon ekibi arasındaki işbirliğinin önemi belirtilmiştir. SUMMARY After a brief review of the basic functions of the treatment obturators, the author outlined a modified construction technic of the treatment obturators. A multi-disciplinary approach and close co-operation between the oto-rhino-laryn-gologic team and the maxillofacial rehabilitation team are described as well.
