Abstract :SUMMARY In this research solubility of dental enamel in different age groups have been investigated. Phosphoric asid have been applied onto the known surface dental enamel as a conditioner. Calcium has been analyzed by atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Result showed that calcium content of enamel was increasing with İncreasing of the age of the enamel. Micro spaces might have been filled by calcium by age and enhancing the inorganic / organic ratio of dental enamel was a possibility. In this study it can be interpreted that resistance of dental enamel against the acids depend on the maturaty of enamel.
