Abstract :Anahtar Kelimeler : Lokalize dişeti çekilmesi, sitrik asit, cerrahi tedavi. Kök yüzeyine topikal sitrik asit uygulamasının lokalize dişeti çekilmesinin klasik cerrahi yöntemlerle tedavisini desteklemesini incelemek amacıyla yapılan çalışmalar gözden geçirildi ve çok az sayıda araştırmacının konuya olumlu yaklaşmasına karşın pekçoğunun kök yüzeyi demineralizasyonun sementogenezisi hızlandırmadığını,yeni bağ dokusu ataşmanı oluşumuna katkısı olmadığını ve postoperatif iyileşme proçesinde epitelin yara böl-gesine proliferasyonunu önlemediğini histometrik ve klinik düzeyde saptadıkları gözlemlendi. Key words : Localized gingival recession, citric acid, surgical treatment. The topical application of citric acid to the root surfaces, as an adjunct to surgical treatment of the localized gingival recessions is reviewed. We observed in these reviews that a lot of histologic, histometric, clinic studies show the déminéralisation of the root surfaces do not enhanced the cementogenesis, the formation of the connective tissue attachment and proliferation of the epitelium to the wounded side along the postoperative healing.
