Abstract :Anahtar Kelimeler: Vitaminler, oral belirtiler. Yazımızda, organizmada A.B.C ve D vitaminlerinin eksikliklerinde meydana gelen, genel birtakım bozuklukların yanısıra oral bölgede ortaya çıkan patolojik durumlar kısaca anlatılmıştır. Key words: Vitamins, oral lesions, Vitamins are organic materials which are very important for the maintenance of functions and for the maintenance of normal body growth. Most of the vitamins are taken into the body by the normal diet and most of them are synthesed by the organism. The deficiency of vitamin may cause very important disturbances of functions in the organism. In most of these disturbances pathologic changes are seen in oral cavity, too and most of the times these are seen as diagnostic lesions. In this article, in addition to some general disturbances due to the deficiencies of vitamins A, B, C and D, the lesions and pathological changes that are observed in the oral region are briefly discussed.
