Abstract :The fact that the capacity of electricity distribution networks will be insufficient in the future has forced people to integrate DG (Distributed Generation) facilities into their distribution networks. Although DG facilities provide many benefits to the grid, they also lead to complexity in the distribution network. This situation not only makes it difficult to protect the distribution network but also causes short circuit currents to have a variable structure. Variable short circuit currents cause the relays to activate at the wrong time, causing OCR (Overcurrent Relay) coordination to be disrupted. For this reason, bidirectional relays and adaptive protection are needed in the networks. In this study, the IEEE 4-bus test system, which includes DG facilities and was created in accordance with its original form, was used for simulation studies. In this way, the effect of short circuit current variability is minimized and optimum protection is achieved by quickly adapting to variable network conditions. Keywords : Adaptif koruma, yönlü aşırı akım röle koordinasyonu, dağıtık üretim
