Abstract :ÖZET Mide kanseri ve tedavisi hastanın beslenme durumunu farklı şekillerde etkileyebilir. Hastalarda meydana gelen beslenme değişimleri de tedavi ve iyileşme sürecini olumsuz yönde etkileyen komplikasyonlara neden olabilir. Kanser ve beslenme arasındaki ilişki karmaşık ve çok yönlüdür. Metabolik etkilerinin yanı sıra besin alımı bozulduğunda hastalar psikolojik ve sosyal olarak da baskılanır. Çünkü beslenme temel bir vücut gereksinimi ve sıklıkla sosyal bir aktivitedir. Beslenme durumunun erken tanılanması, gerekli girişimlerin planlanması ve uygulanması hemşirelik bakımının temelini oluşturur. Anahtar Kelimeler: Mide kanseri, beslenme, hemşirelik bakımı. ABSTRACT Nutrition in Gastric Cancer Gastric cancer and its treatment may affect the nutritional status of the patient in a variety of ways.
