Abstract :Bütün Ege ve Akdeniz, İtalyan donanmasının kontrolü altındaydı. Osmanlı donanması ise, yok denilebilecek kadar zayıftı. Bu bakımdan Trablusgarp’a deniz yolundan ulaşmak, hemen hemen, imkânsız gibiydi. Bunu gören devrin genç ve yıldız subayları, Osmanlı Devleti’nin gizli desteğini sağlayarak, birer ikişer, Mısır ve Tunus yoluyla Trablusgarp’a gittiler. İstanbul’da işsiz bırakılan Mustafa Kemal de Trablusgarp’a gitmek istedi.
