EQUILIBRIUM STUDIES ON Ni(II) and Cu(II) COMPLEXES with 4,7- DIMETHYL-1,10-PHENANTHROLINE and ACIDIC AMINO ACIDS in AQUEOUS SOLUTION

Abstract :The aim of this studies are to determine protonation constants of selected ligands {4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4,7-dmphen);, aspartic acid insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(asp); and glutamic acid insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(glu);} and their stability constants of insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1:1); and insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1:1:1); complexes with Niinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); and Cuinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); ion were determined I = 0.1 M KCl and T = 298.15 K. The protonation constants of the 4,7-dmphen, asp and glu and their stability constants of the insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1:1); and insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1:1:1); Niinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); and Cuinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); complexes were computed performing BEST program. Moreover, SPE program was used to determine the distribution of the species occured in aqueous solution medium. The stability constants of the insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1:1:1); Niinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); and Cuinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); complexes are compared with those of the corresponding the stability of the insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1:1); Niinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); and Cuinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(II); complexes with regard to Δlog K values.
