Abstract :We investigated the ultrasound-assisted adsorption of Basic Blue 41 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(BB41); dye from aqueous solutions using a green and low-cost adsorbent such as a Salda mud insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(SM); in our study. BET, FTIR, and SEM techniques were used to determine the morphology and the functional groups of SM before and after dye adsorption. Furthermore, we calculated different adsorption kinetic, isotherm, and error models insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(SSE, HYBRID, and ARE); parameters to evaluate the optimum experimental conditions such as the initial dye concentration of BB41 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(6.25-50 ppm);, SM dose insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(0.05–0.2 g);, pH insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3–10);, and sonication time insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(400-3600 s);. The value of uptake insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%); of SM for BB41 was %94 at 50 ppm,25 °C at 3600 s. Following this, we found that the pseudo second-order insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Type2); model of BB41 was the best fitted model with highest R2 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(0.973-0.999); values. We developed a simple, low-cost, and fast to remove BM41 from water using natural and efficient SM adsorbent, which exhibited superior adsorption performance in wastewater treatment under ultrasonic irradiation.
