Abstract :In this study, the traces of the qa γ an election rituals in the Old Turkic Inscriptions were mentioned. The qa γ an election ritual is not only in the Turkic Qa ghanate , it was also present in the old Uyghurs with great enthusiasm. Probably this ritual was a heritage of them to the Huns. We learn from sources that this heritage has survived to the Seljuk times. The ‘raise’ rituals of this traditions has changed day by day. This is an indication that some of the traces of the Ötüken culture are still alive today.
