Abstract :The article focuses on a verse from the Dirsä Xan Boyu of the Book of Dädä Qorqut, specifically examining how the seventh line has been interpreted, transcribed, and analyzed by different manuscripts and researchers. Numerous scholars have read and interpreted this line in various ways, such as qadunum, dirägüm, dölügüm, using diverse linguistic and textual analysis methods. Ultimately, it is proposed that the line be read as qadınım, dirägim, döllügüm meaning “my wife, the pillar of my home, the bearer of my children”.
