Nadiren sağ atriumda da gelişebilir. Dev sağ atrium triküspit kapak patolojilerinde nadir görülen bir durumdur. Erişkinlerde triküspit kapak stenozu ve yetmezliği sonucunda oluşabilen pulmoner hipertansiyona sekonder gelişebilir. Kırk beş yaşında kadın hasta triküspit yetmezliğine bağlı gelişen dev sağ atrium sebebiyle opere edildi.
