Abstract :Adalet, her devirde, her dinde ve her felsefede en çok sözü edilen konu olmuştur. İslam dininde ve felsefesinde de böyledir. Adalet ve aynı anlamı ifade eden kelimeler ile onun karşıtı olan cevir ve zulüm kavramlarına Kur’an-ı Kerim’de, hadislerde ve dolayısıyla tefsirlerde ve diğer dini eserlerde çok yer verilmiştir. Adalet çok geniş anlam taşıyan bir kavramdır; tasavvufla, hukukla, felsefeyle, sosyoloji, psikoloji gibi bilim dallarıyla ilgili anlamlar kazanmıştır. Özellikle ahlak ile ilgili bir terimdir; ahlaki bir erdemdir. Hatta denilebilir ki, İslam kültüründe ahlak adalettir, adalet ahlaktır.
