Abstract :ÖZET Bu çalışmada, Arap Dili ve Edebiyatı ve Din Dili içerisindeki 'Oku' kavramının yeri incelenmeye gayret edilmiştir. Ayrıca bu kavramın deskriptif ve linguistik tahlilleri üzerinde durulmuş, okumanın amacı, gerçek bir okuyucu olmanın kriterleri, okumanın hastalıkları ve zararları, Tanrı sözleri olan Kur'ân'ın nasıl okunması gerektiği gibi konulara açıklık getirilmeye çalışılmış ve bu konuda önemli ipuçları verilmistir. Anahtar Kelimeler: İkra, Oku, Düşünce, Arap Dili, Din Dili. ABSTRACT In this article, we tried to research the place of 'Iqra' (anonceread) concept in Arabic Language and Religious Language. Furthermore we touched on linguistic and descriptive analysis of this concept, and aims of read, and criterious of to be a good reader, and ilness and damages of read. In this issue, we researched reading forms of the Qur’an, and gave important clues of this subject. Key Words: 'Iqra', Read, Thought, Arabic Language, Religious Language.
