Abstract :We define and study an equivalence relation in the class ${\sf Trinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(SV_s);}$ of translationally slowly varying positive real sequences and its relations with selection principles and game theory. We also prove a game-theoretic result for translationally rapidly varying sequences.
