In nine FNA and two core biopsies, histopathologically 26 patients were diagnosed as PCa and the remaining 42 as benign prostatic hyperplasia insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(BPH);. FNA alone revealed PCa in 24/26 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(92,3%); patients, whereas core biopsy in 25/26 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(96,2%); patients. There was one false-negative result for each method. The data from this study suggests that FNA is reliable in diagnosing PCa accurately.
