A radiologic study about incidence of anomalies of number, form and position of the kidney on 3600 cases

Abstract :In this study, a total of 3600 IVP cases were examined to determine anomalies of number, form and position of the kidney. The ages of the patients ranged between 5-85. Out of 3600 cases, 2173 were male while 1427 were female. 6 cases of unilateral renal agenesis insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1:600);, 4 cases of simple renal ectopia insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1:900);, 3 cases of crossed renal ectopia insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1:1200); and 8 cases of horseshoe kidney insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1:450); were identified. While 2 of the simple renal ectopia were pelvic, 1 was iliac and the other was lumbar. The 2 of the crossed renal ectopia were observed to be with fusion, and 1 without fusion.
