Abstract :Positional anomalies of the kidney are encountered with an increasing frequency in everyday practice but intrathoracic kidney is a rare form of renal ectopy. Although it does not require medical treatment the situation may draw attention in differential diagnosis of abnormal mediastinal mass. We describe a patient with left thoracic kidney.
