Abstract :This article attempts to demonstrate refugees’ experiences of social integration based on a case study conducted in 2017 among young male Syrians in the Turkish city of Gaziantep. Already a ‘chaotic concept’, integration gets more complicated today in the era of transnationalism in which people tend to remain mobile even after arriving to their destination through their networks that transcend national borders. This study aims to illustrate how Gaziantep turns into a multicultural city with refugees, who are mostly from Syria’s second biggest city of Aleppo, creating their own locality that represents a different sociality, culture and way of living. It also argues how young Syrians’ experiences of integration are strained at the crossroad of the temporality of their stay and the transnational character of their migratory behaviour. Keywords : gaziantep, suriyeli, turkiye, goc, gocmen, multeci
