Abstract :ÖZET Bu makalede; ekonomik, sosyal ve siyasal olmak üzere üst seviyeden bir yaşama biçimini ifade eden medeniyetlerin muharrik gücünün ne olup olmadığı sorgulanmakta ve Türk-İslûm medeniyetinin batı medeniyeti karşısında niçin geri kaldığına dair cevaplar aranmaktadır. Anahtar kelimeler: Medeniyet, Entellektualizm, Aydınlanma, Demokratikleşme ABSTRACT This article questions what is and is not included in the provocative power of civilizations that stand for an upper from of living economic, social and political fields and seeks answers to the question why Turkish-islamic civilization retrogressed as against the western civilization.
