Abstract :Bu çalışmada, mit ve efsanelerin eğitimdeki yeri ve önemi vurgulanmaya çalışılmıştır. Mit ve efsanelerin toplumsal fonksiyonlarından yola çıkılarak, eğitimde bir araç olarak bunlardan nasıl faydalanılacağı ve hangi yönlerden öğrencilere yarar sağlayacağı irdelenmiştir.
