Abstract :This article discusses the complex nature of world politics making a special reference to the growing roles of the flexible and loosely organized coalitions formed between NGOs from different backgrounds and with different mandates. Relying on the relevant literature, the study seeks to unveil the world of coalition building by defining the relevant terms and exploring the basic motives behind the individual NGOs’ decision to join collaborative actions. The study further notes that despite some common features possibly used to identify the coalitions, these joint endeavors often display different tendencies depending on the case for which the individual actors gather together to exert the maximum possible influence
