Abstract :The Batken events of the last two years have again drawn the attention of the world to the strengthening of the `Islamic factor` in Central Asia. Unfortunately, there is every reason to assume that in the near future similar events will be repeated. The current military-political situation in the south of our country is the result of the intersection of a number of urgent problems, which cover all of Central Asia.
