Abstract :In the supply chain and logistics sector, technologies such as remotely operated systems are being adopted to facilitate the movement, storage, and distribution of goods and to improve customer services. With Industry 4.0, advanced technologies that enable objects to connect with each other have started to be used. Blockchain technology has also begun to be embraced as an advanced technology used in the supply chain and logistics sectors, as in many other fields. This article provides a comprehensive overview of blockchain technology in the context of supply chain and logistics. It examines the use of blockchain technology in supply chain and logistics operations. First, the definition and historical development of blockchain are addressed, emphasizing its significance in modern businesses. The article highlights various applications of blockchain technology in the sector and its contributions to supply chain and logistics operations.
