Phenotypic and Genetic Parameters of Some Production Traits of Brown Swiss Herd Raised at The State Farm of Konuklar in Konya Province II. Genetic Parameters

Abstract :In this research, heritability and repeatability of service period insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(SP);, calving interval insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(CI);, gestation length insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(GL);, number of insemination per conception insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(NIPC);, first service age insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FSA);, first calving age insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FCA);, lactation milk yield insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(LMY); and lactation length insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(LL); were estimated using reproductive and productive records in Brown Swiss herd reared at the Konuklar State Farm in Konya. The heritability values for SP, CI, GL, NIPC, FSA, FCA, LMY and LL were 0.074 ± 0.096, 0.131 ± 0.146, 0.053 ± 0.046, 0.331 ± 0.122, 0.766 ± 0.242, 0.214 ± 0.201, 0.107 ± 0.119, and 0.226 ± 0.156 respectively. The repeatability values of CP, CI, GL, NIPC, LMY and LL were determined as 0.089 ± 0.071, 0.103 ± 0.101, 0.151 ± 0.059, 0.143 ± 0.047, 0.188 ± 0.085 and 0.231 ± 0.084 respectively.Keywords : Süt verimi, döl verimi, kalitim derecesi, tekrarlanma derecesi, Esmer sigir
