Abstract :In this study, park concept and general characteristics of urban parks were investigated, according to the results of this investigations, a modern park project having a functional and visual value, recreational and socia-cultural usage of urban population based on the principles of landscape architecture were planed in Konya. This study was released on totally 468 da area and carried on under the following stages; a-Site analysis b-Program c- Program relationships d-Design concept e-Bubble diagram f-Circulation diagram g-Master project h-Application project. Urban Parks are green planned, public lands, set aside for recreational, aesthetics, educational and ecological use. The design is to provide comfortable living surrounding for people in Konya Selçuklu Urban Park to create a medium of comfort, aesthetic and confidence for people.
