Abstract :This study was conducted for determination Penicillium spp. infection on several tulip bulbs and effects some chemicals against Penicillium spp. infection. For this purpose, storage survey was realized for determination rate of infection with Peni-cillium spp. and severity of disease on bulbs of 22 different tulip variety in 2001 and 2002. And also effectiveness of some chem-icals was investigated against Penicillium spp. isolates in vitro and in vivo conditions. At the evaluation on 100 bulbs that randomly chosen for each tulip variety, While the ratio of infected bulb with Penicillium spp. was determined as 8.04 % in 2001, this ratio was found as 8.36 % in 2002. General average was determined as 8.20 %. While disease severity on tulip bulbs was determined as average 3.33 % in 2001, it was determined as average 4.43 % in 2002. Disease severity according to general average of two years was found as 3.38 %. According to values of two years, the highest disease severity was seen on Leen Van der Mark, Marry Krissmis, Salmon Parrot and Flaming Parrot tulip varieties. In vitro conditions, while Penicillium spp. isolates are found the most susceptible against iprodione, they were found the most resistance against benomyl. In vivo studies, the highest effect was obtained with thiram against Penicillium sp. isolate. Iprodion followed thiram
