Abstract :In this study, the effects of single disc type coulter using on cereals sowing on different seed depth and rows spacing on height of soil ridge and seedling emergency were researched. The experiments were conducted with three different seed depth insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(30, 50 and 70 mm); and three different row spacing insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(100, 120 and 140);. According to experiment results, the effects of different seed depth and row spacing on height of soil ridge and seed-ling emergency were found significantly. It was determined that 120 mm row spacing for 320 mm disc diameter and 5 cm seed depth can be used successfully instead of 140 mm row spacing with conventional seeding machines in cereals seeding in Turkey.
