Abstract :Hazelnut is one of the most important products in Blacksea Region of Turkey for both production and exportion. According to the recent observations, the damage of bark beetles insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Col.:Scolytidae); are gradually increasing. Xyleborus dispar insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Fabricius); and Lymantor coryli insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Perris); are the most common species. In this article, the description, distribution, host plants, damage and biology of these species were summarized. The man-agement strategies of them were also emphasized.
