Abstract :The basic biological function of poultry hatching egg is to produce live and saleable chicks. Hatcheries are concerned with maximizing the number of saleable chicks whilst the growers focus on minimizing mortality and improving feed efficiency. Processors look to maximizing carcass and breast meat yields. Also, two of most effective factors which are influence chick quality and development are hatching egg weight and breeder age. Unfortunately, it is difficult to say that these two cirteria are given enough attention by hatchery stuff in Turkey. The aim of current review is to understand the effects of hatching egg weight and breedeer age on embryo development nad hatching results in broiler.
