Abstract :This study was conducted in 2003-2004 years to determine the population fluctuations of bark betle species, which their importance has gradually increased in main hazelnut area of Turkey, and suitable mass trapping method in their control in Terme district insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Samsun);. The sticky trap with red wings and alcohol was used in all tests and observations regarding population changing. First appearance of adults have seen in March-April and the beetles have intensively occurred in the six weeks period between late-June and in the mid-August. As a mass trapping method, 2, 4, 6, 8 traps per decare were used and 8 among them traps were considered as the most advisable trap number for control practice.
