Abstract :The aim of this study is to determine the effect of exogenous hormone aplication on keeping the optimal service time period in Holstein cattle raised at Agriculture Faculty, University of Selcuk in Konya. Service period, conception rates and number of insemination per conception were determined in the study. Service period and conception rates at first, second and third insem-ination were determined as 121.8 ± 25.7 days, 40%, 60% and 100% respectively. The number of insemination per conception was found as 2.00.
