Abstract :An experiment was conducted to determine the influence of dietary crude protein and amino acid concentration on the performance, egg and reproductive characteristics and nitrogen excretion in breeding Chukar Partridge. In the experiment, 192 breeding chukar partridge at 36 weeks of age insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(male/female ratio: 1/ 2); was fed diets having 20, 17 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(control);, 15 % crude protein insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(CP); without and with supplemental methionine, lysine or methionine, lysine and threonine, and 13 % CP without and with methionine and lysine or methionine, lysine and threonine insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(total of 8 treatments, for sixteen weeks. The last two low-protein diets insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(15 and 13 % CP); were supplemented with methionine, lysine and threonine to increase their concentration to a level equivalent to control diet insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(% 17 CP);. Each of the experimental diets was fed four replicates with 6 chukars per replicate. Feed and water were continuously available and light was provided for 16 hours per day. There were no significant differ-ences among the treatment groups in average body weight changes, feed intake, feed conversion ratio insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(feed intake, g / egg weight, g);, egg production insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(number and %);, egg weight, egg mass and percentage of fertility and hatchability insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(P>0.05);. Decreasing dietary protein levels resulted in a significant insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(P< 0.01); decrease in nitrogen excretion. The results of the current study indicate that it is possible to obtain performance of breeding chukar partridge on low-protein diet insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(13 %); without any supplemental essential amino acids and to get comparable result with performance of chukars fed diets containing conven-tional insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(17 %); or higher protein insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(20 %); levels. Keywords : Kınalı keklik, lisin, metiyonin, nitrojen atılımı, performans, üreme, treonin
