The Effects of Seed Yield and Yield Components of Different Nitrogen Doses and Inoculation of Rhizobium on Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)

Abstract :Present research was realized in farmer trial located in Altınekin Town Konya City to evaluate effect of different nitrogen doses and bacteria inoculation on some agricultural characteristics of Alberto bean variety during 2016 growing period. Field trial was set up according to “Randomized Blocks Design” by 3 replications. Applications was; control insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(N0 + No bacteria);, N1 dose insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2,5 kg da-1 nitrogen on sowing);, N2 dose insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(5 kg da-1 nitrogen on sowing);, N3 dose insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2,5 kg da-1 nitrogen on sowing and 2,5 kg da-1 nitrogen on flowering);, N4 dose insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(5 kg da-1 nitrogen on sowing and 2,5 kg/da nitrogen on flowering);, Bacteria insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(only bacteria application);, Bacteria + N1 dose insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2,5 kg da-1 nitrogen on sowing + Bacteria); and Bacteria + N2 dose insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(5 kg da-1 nitrogen on sowing + Bacteria); in the trial. Ammonium Sulfate form was used as fertilizer in the research. Results of variance analyze showed that all the different nitrogen doses and bacteria inoculation was significant for all the investigated characteristics except for one hundred seeds weight. Following ranges were detected; 13.20 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Control); - 19.47 total/plant insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Bacteria + N2 dose); for nodule number, 56.53 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Control); - 91.20 cm insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(N3 dose); for plant height, 12.47 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Control); - 17.60 total/plant insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(N2 dose); for number of pod, 4.13 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Bacteria); - 6.27 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(N4 dose); for number of seed per pod, 53.53 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Bacteria); - 103.73 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(N4 dose); for number of seed per plant, 257.94 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Con-trol); - 461.17 kg da-1 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(N2 dose); for seed yield, 34.21 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Bacteria + N2 dose); - 37.16 g insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(N3 dose); for one hundred seeds weight, 23.99 % insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(N1 dose); - 24.87 % insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Bacteria + N2 dose); for protein ratio and 23.99 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(N1 dose); - 24.87 kg da-1 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Bacteria + N2 dose); for protein yield, respectively. Consequently, as the research was based on one year trial; it is not exact but may be suggested that 5 kg da-1 of nitrogen application on sowing is feasible to get the highest seed yield in bean farming.
