Abstract :After its in vivo reconstruction, the clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(CRISPR); and the CRISPR associated endonucleases insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Cas); system thought for as a genome editing tool. Genome editing in livestock can be thought as an alternate and faster way to classical breeding methods to development of quality and efficiency traits as meat, milk, egg, wool, mohair and leather yields. This review, includes the researches about the usage of the technique in the livestock, have seen important to introduce the technique and as a basis to its usage for animal breeding.
