Abstract :The fresh bean population known theirs local names was collected from 100 villages of Çarşamba Plain and Ladik town in 2003-2005 years. In 2003, the single plants were selected from observation garden. In 2004, the single plant rows were formed with selected single plants and the lines were defined. In 2005, eleven lines were found as favourable pot and plant characteristics according to UPOV criteria including earliness, quality, yield, lodging.
