Determination of Yield and Quality Traits of Some Durum Wheat Genotypes in Konya Ecology

Abstract :This study was conducted to determine grain yield and some quality traits of 20 durum wheat genotypes under rainfed conditions in 2012-2013 growing season at Konya-Center and İçeri Çumra. In previous years, improved in durum wheat breeding program 16 lines and commonly grown in the Central Anatolian Region 4 cultivars insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Kızıltan-91, Ç-1252, Eminbey ve Kunduru1149); were used as plant material. The research was arranged in a randomized block design with four replicates. Grain yield, plant height, thousand kernel weight, test weight, protein content, SDS sedimentation value and color value were evaluated in this research. According to the results including two environment averages; grain yield, plant height, thousand kernel weight, test weight, protein content, SDS sedimentation value and color value of genotypes, were between 2027.0-3679.2 kg ha-1, 70.9-112.2 cm, 34.7-44.4 g, 73.7-77.0 kg, 11.0-14.2 %, 10.3-26.8 ml and 19.5-24.2, respectively. On average of two environments, in terms of grain yield, 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 18 and 19 numbered lines had above the overall grain yield insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3040.6 kg ha-1);. Also, 1, 2, 3, 9, 12, 14, 16, and 19 numbered lines in terms of protein content had values over the grand mean insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(12.4%);.
