Abstract :The present study was carried out to determine the effects of two different planting systems insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(standard raised bed, gable raised bed and flat planting practices on yield and quality parameters of Sümela F1 tomatoes organically grown in the field. The study, raised beds had a higher insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(P˂0.01); mean fruit weight insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(g fruit-1); yield insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(kg plant-1);, fruit firmness insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(N);, soluble solids content insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%);, titratable acidity insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%); and vitamin C insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(mg 100g-1); content than flat planting. The highest mean fruit weight insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(95.7 g fruit-1);, yield insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(5.6 kg plant-1); and soluble solids content SSC insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(8 %); were obtained from gable raised bed application. The highest values for fruit firmness insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(17.2 N); titratable acidity insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(0.71 %); and vitamin C insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(30.8 mg 100g-1); content were obtained from standard raised bed application. It was concluded that raised beds insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(standard and gable); could have significant effects on the yield and quality parameters of tomatoes.
