Abstract :Determining some of the tree and fruit properties is necessary in order to design or select machines for plum fruits harvesting and harvesting with mechanical methods. According to investigation; fruit detachment force, rates of mass percent fruit detachment force, bio-rupture force values, pH, titration acidity, total soluble solids, color insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(hº); were measured for Angelino variety plum in October 2, 2008 and President kind plum in September 25, 2008. The values were found as 6.40 N, 14.21, 4.54 N, 3.71, 0.89 %, 17.17%, 324.97 for Angeleno variety and 12.67 N, 7.46, 6.51 N, 3.69, 0.57 %, 22.64%, 339.93 for President variety respectively. The height of tree, the diameter of crown, the height and the diameter of body, coefficient of limb spring rigidity for 4.0 – 4.5 cm limbs in diameter were found as 509.82 cm, 397.13 cm, 55.94 cm, 12.46 cm, 326.10 N.cm-1 for the plum tree Angelino and 542.50 cm, 423.69 cm, 52.94 cm, 45.94 cm, 12.46 cm, 12.01 cm, 151.72 N.cm-1 for plum tree Presi-dent respectively.
